The port of Azua is also known as Puerto Viejo de Azua and is located about 15 kilometres Southwest of the town of Azua. It was built in the 1950’s. Later a large, modern LPG terminal was completed, which may provide this port with some activity. Recently the port and dock was modified to receive large quantities of Cement Clinkers
