Las Calderas is an extensive and well sheltered harbour in the middle of the South Coast of the Dominican Republic with entrance at Punta Calderas. Useful spaces at harbour are shared between the Las Calderas Naval Base and Ciramar International Shipyard.
Shallow water anchorages are available at several places in the bay; permissions to drop anchor is granted upon request case to case.
