Marítima Dominicana was founded in the spring of 1971, to act as shipping agents and cargo stevedores in all ports of the Dominican Republic, including Santo Domingo, Río Haina, Caucedo, Boca Chica, AES Andrés, Barahona, Cabo Rojo, San Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, Azua, Samaná, Puerto Plata, Manzanillo, Palenque, and Bahía de Ocoa. The main office was established in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo, where the majority of import and export cargo was handled in the port of Santo Domingo. As maritime freight developed through the use of containers and modernized ship’s, Rio Haina Port grew as the principal port in the D.R. due to its large area and capacity of attending a wide range of vessel types. In view of this, in 1990, Maritima Dominicana relocated its new main office within the entrance avenue of Rio Haina Port including a repair shop and modern warehouse. More

OEA is Spanish acronym for Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) promoted by the World Commerce Organization (WCO) through the national Customs entity.
Provide programs for the staff to avoid alcohol, drugs and other illicit activities.
