Boca Chica Port
Boca Chica is one of the three ports serving the capital city of Santo Domingo. Located approximately 20 miles east of the city and just 5 miles from the international airport, this port was originally constructed in the 1950s for sugar exports. It is now used almost exclusively for importing goods, including trailers, containers, lumber, newsprint, and homogeneous cargo.
