San Pedro de Macorís Terminal
Located at the mouth of the Higuamo River on the southern coast of Hispaniola, about 70 kilometers east of Santo Domingo, Puerto San Pedro de Macorís is mainly used for the export of bulk cement, clinker, sugar, molasses, and bagged fertilizers. It is also used for the import of bulk wheat and fertilizers. Tankers (MT) offload petroleum at the floating terminal and white goods products. Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is handled at the mooring facilities with CBM systems from Coastal and Cogentrix for both import and export.
